California Dreamin': Part 4

All the leaves are green,
And the sky is blue...
California Dreamin'...on such a summer day!
(Think Mamas and Papas)

Well, I'm tipped-out. Therefore, I'll just share the rest of our trip with you which was pure enjoyment. We spent that last two days in San Diego; the first at the beach in Coronado. My sister's family comes to Coronado every year with her husband's family. They live in New York but they fly to San Diego for a week and then come visit us in Utah. What a pleasure it was to spend time with her family on "their beach". Thanks for a fabulous day!

Good times together!
Day two was spent seeing some sights in San Diego. One of our favorites was the Mormon Battalion Historic Site. This is one of the Top 5 places to visit in San Diego, according to travel magazines. It was AWESOME for the children and the adults. If you go to San Diego, you have to come here!

From their Website: Come experience the long march from Iowa to San Diego with the Mormon Battalion. Learn why this group of Latter-day Saint men and women joined the U.S. Army and what they accomplished during and after their march. This newly remodeled center evokes Old San Diego and includes hands-on exhibits and resources for learning more about those who served in the Battalion.

This is a cool place!
